Obituary for Dale Nauss

It is with great sadness that we the family of Dale Nauss, age 75, of East River, announce his peaceful passing at home, surrounded by his loving family, after a lengthy battle with congestive heart failure, on April 3, 2018 . He retired after 38 years working for Maritime Tel and Tel. He believed his customers came first, and always said he never had a bad day at work. He also was a part time lobster fisherman, enjoyed being out on the water hauling his traps, and chatting with his customers who came to buy lobsters. Dale was predeceased by his parents Avis (Jim) Rose; infant brother Ronnie, and his special uncle, Arch Zinck. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharron (Boutilier); special aunt, Betty Zinck; daughter, Dianne (Robert) Eagles, sons, Allen (Bonnie), and Danny (Leslie); grandchildren, Chris (Anna), Kelsey (Coel), Megan, Morgan, Zackery, and Taylor; great grandchildren, Kade, Kenzie, Keyona, and Caleb; sisters, Marilyn (Wayne) Keddy, Haida Gwaii, BC; Betty (Craig) Hennigar, East River; Joan (Jim) Dacey, Sackville; brothers, Wayne (Margie) , Hubbards; and Bernie (Linda), Chester; numerous nieces and nephews. He lives forever in the hearts and memories of his wife; children; grandchildren; great grandchildren, family and friends. He will be remembered for his hard work ethics, generosity, and honesty. Dale was never happier than when his home was filled with family and friends, except perhaps when he and Sharron were travelling throughout Canada, and the US, in their RV, with country music blaring on the radio. To respect Dale’s wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VON, Palliative Care, charity of your choice, or just simply raise your glass and make a toast.
